Subject7 version 7.10 - 2/26/2017

Subject7 version 7.10 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

  • Added Ref ID to the meta data of manual tests
  • If a JIRA ticket number is added to the Ref ID of manual or automated tests and JIRA is configured under Administration -> Ticketing System, “Go to ticket” link which is next to the Ref ID will open up the associated JIRA ticket in a separate tab within JIRA. This helps with linking manual or automated tests to the JIRA stories for traceability (Requirements Traceability Matrix – RTM) purposes
  • Test case and function information tab is converted to a modal window instead. The meta data information about test cases and functions are now available through the “Test Case Info” or “Function Info” link while editing the test case or function
  • All forms allowing save or update are converted from tab to modal window
  • Additional notification options are added to each execution set so that you can select from immediately, hourly, or daily notification emails. “Immediately” sends you an email after completion of each test case in an execution set. “Hourly” aggregates the results of all of the test cases that have been executed in an hour and will send you an email notification with the results of all of those test cases. “Daily” aggregates the results of all of the test cases in an execution set and will send an email with the result of all of those test cases in a single email at a configurable time in a day
  • Pool Management under Administration provides the capability to choose any of the available pools in your account to get more status on each VM in the pool along with the test case names and their approximated execution time waiting to be executed
  • Load Testing: added 75th and 90th percentile to load testing metrics
  • 508/accessibility report is exportable to PDF and Excel
  • Variables disappearing issue is fixed during local run
  • Fixed an IF syntax check issue
  • Load testing export issue is fixed
  • Execution states are fixed for execution sets with more than one test case
  • Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
