Subject7 version 10.0.0 - 03/04/2023 - Requires Subject7 support for upgrade

Version 10.0.0 represents the start of a new user experience, that will encompass better organization of information, consistency throughout the application, improved creation and modification of test cases, and greater clarity of the execution results over multiple releases. In this first release here are some of the improvements, and you can watch this feature overview video (click here):

• A streamlined information architecture that consolidates the site-wide navigation at the top of the application, and your open tabs in the left panel
• The top-level menus have been updated to provide easier access to your Execution sets along with some new terminology and a consolidated user menu on the right
• The breadcrumbs are clearer and placed below the top-level navigation to bring more context to where you are in the application hierarchy
• All open tabs have been moved to the left panel, which lets you focus on your work in the main area of the application
• Tabs are grouped into categories that correspond to the top-level menu structure, and you can collapse individual categories
• All open tabs will remain open when you log out of the application, so you won’t have to re-open them the next time you log in. This mode can be activated by hovering over your user > Preferences > Landing Page > Last Opened Tab
• The left panel can be reduced to a new slimline view that gives you more working space while still accessing your open tabs

Additionally, we’ve placed a hidden Easter egg in the application in the form of a right-click menu with some additional contextual actions. The first 10 people that find the menu will receive a special Subject7 prize, just send us an email with a screenshot of the right-click menu to [e-mail]. And if you think there should be a right-click menu somewhere else, let us know as well.
