Subject7 version 10.2.2 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:
- Introduced support for Shadow DOM in Gutenberg (Subject7 Smart XPath generator) which works as below:
- CSS Selectors are automatically generated without using hints when the user clicks on an element in Shadow DOM
- CSS Selectors are copied from Gutenberg and pasted into Web Locators
- Users can utilize these web locators in their tests to automate Shadow DOM interactions
- Added support for passing variables and injecting data templates in the Attribute filed in Get_Web_Value command
- Renamed Test Library to Tests under the Landing Page in User Preferences
- Improved behavior for local execution not to close the browser session when the user removes a step with End_IF or Loop_End by accident
- Improved behavior for local execution when a user deletes a condition where previously an error was displayed
- Improved variables display in cloud execution to match the exact result in local execution, including sorting
- Improved Name field and Rename in Repository > File Uploads where previously their behavior was inconsistent
- Improved Data Templates where previously removing a field would automatically save if they user did not click Save
- Improved legacy JIRA integration where previously the Edit icon would remain visible after the user removes association with the ticket
- Improved saving of Execution Sets and Load Sets where previously a blank error message would be displayed when the used name already exists
- Improved error message in dataset selection window of a test case when the user deselects all datasets and clicks OK
- Recorder (v 3.7.0)- Improved performance to handle edge cases and smoother operation
- Gutenberg (v 4.0.1) - Improved performance to handle edge cases and smoother operation
