New
- Redesigned Subject7 XRay integration as follow:
- Credentials are still required under Project Management > Integrations
- The Test Case Ticket Key is required on each test case. This can be added by clicking Configure Integrations button on Information tab of the test case
- Cloud execution no longer updates Xray for independent execution and can be done only in execution sets
- The Test Plan Ticket Key is required on the execution set General Setup tab
- Once the above is followed, executing the set in cloud will create Test Runs in XRay
- The below status is displayed between Subject7 and XRay:
- Subject7: Queued - Xray: ToDo
- Subject7: Completed/Failed - Xray: Failed
- Subject7: Completed/Error - Xray: Failed
- Subject7: Completed/Passed - Xray: Passed
- Subject7: Completed/Fail_Skip - Xray: Passed
- Added a new feature to set a custom path under User Preferences > Browser. This allows users to execute with Beta or Test versions of the browser in addition to the Stable version of the browser
- Added a new processing indicator on the dashboard to visually indicate processing data
- Added a new feature to the Recorder extension, which shows the results of matching XPath Templates. This can be accessed by right-clicking the recorder icon on the automation browser > Open Matching XPath Templates Information Log
- Added new branding on Subject7 Test pages website
- Usage Metrics report will no longer show the supreme user from other users but will only be visible from the supreme user itself
- Recorder now marks recorded steps with a green check-mark to indicate the action being already executed. Clicking Resume will continue execution from non-recorded steps only
- Added custom support for ShadowDOM on ServiceNow pages
- Chrome driver is upgraded to version 135.0.7049.42 and supports Chrome version 135
- Edge driver is upgraded to version 135.0.3179.54 and supports Edge version 135
Improvements
- Improved PFR widgets to count Fail_Skip as Pass
- Improved the Ticketing System under Administration where previously it would take a long time to validate when the credentials are invalid
- Improved the tooltip of 'Create New Ticket' link on the test case Information tab
- Improved the display of the artifact dropdown list in commands to only display the 50 most recently created artifacts
- Improved Recorder to stop recording when the user disables the recorder in User Preferences > Recorder
- Improved date display in the Dashboard's 'Year in Review' to match user's browser settings
- Improved Recorder tooltips for better clarity
- Improved report navigation from dashboard widgets: Clicking on a failure located in a different project will now automatically filter to that specific project
Bug-Fixes
- Fixed an issue with the web driver session crashing when a test fails due to a timeout in rare cases
- Fixed an issue with the web driver session crashing when Gutenberg extension is accidentally removed from the browser
- Fixed an issue with filtering using Usage in REST Connections where previously used connections appeared with False usage rather than True
- Fixed an issue where sometimes using the Recorder and Gutenberg would display a blank space at the bottom of the automation browser window
- Fixed an issue in the Commands Editor where previously, using both an injection and a variable in a step would display an error
- Fixed an issue where deleted function parameters would reappear in step captions after reimporting a test case with the 'skip' option enabled for functions
