Subject7 version 10.5.6 - 06/17/2025- May require support for upgrade

v10.5.6 has been released!

New

  • Added several logging capabilities to back-end for FedRAMP compliance
  • Added the ability to select Data Residency Region for Xray Integration
  • Added a new feature which allows to add an example response to a REST Connection. Here's how this can be useful:
    • By clicking Test Connection on a REST Connection, you will see a response
    • By clicking Add to Example, this copies the response to Example Response tab
    • By saving the REST Connection, this will make it easier for you to generate Keys/XPaths on Get_REST_Value command
    • In your test case, select Get_REST_Value command and you will see a green button called Generate Keys / XPaths
    • By clicking this button, you will see the Response Schema which will allow you to select which key values you want to retrieve
    • Once selection is done, clicking Apply will automatically generate the Keys/XPaths and will automatically generate the variables so that you don't have to manually enter anything else
    • If the response is larger than 500 KB, you will have the option to save it as a file under Repository > File Uploads
    • By using other commands such as Fill, Write, etc, you can see the same schema using @ sign which will automatically add an additional Key/XPath and Variable in Get_REST_Value steps

Improvements

  • Improved REST Connections to allow the user to see long responses, the REST Connection form now allows seeing up to 5 MB, while execution reports and other locations allow seeing up to 500 KB

Bug-Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with Use Chrome Store Extension option under User Preferences > Recorder where previously adding a custom path with a space would cause the box to clear the path
