Subject7 version 8.10 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:
- Fixed several issues with Verify_Text_In_PDF and added support for local PDF files. To verify from a local file, simply add the path of the download file in a Goto_url step followed by the file name and extension. For example, "C:\Users\username\Downloads\file.pdf". The next step will verify the text in PDF which is opened
- Added the ability to see a list of defined as well as system variables in a list. To view this list, simply enter "@" in a field in your test case and the list will appear. Once list appears, you can click on any of the variables in the list to add it to your test case step
- Added a timeout option to Verify_File_Download command so that it waits for an amount of time before verification starts
- subject7_samples folder has been created under “Home” with ready-to-run examples against https://reference.subject-7.com for educational purposes. These best-practice samples are owned by a user called proof, which is the super admin for all accounts. Assets owned by this user cannot be changed or deleted
- De-associating a test case with a JIRA ticket is added back
- Fixed player updater minor issues
- Fixed unformatted messages in local player logs
- Fixed several issues with multiple file uploads
- Fixed issue with Type column in Steps report
- Fixed issues with Selenium export
- Fixed issues with test case export
- Fixed captions background in cloud executions
- Selenium drivers are upgraded
- Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
