Subject7 version 8.17 - 10/24/2020

Subject7 version 8.17 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

• Added a new Subject7 JIRA plugin which you can upload in JIRA under Administration > Manage Apps > Upload app. This plugin provides the ability to map tickets with one or more test cases or execution sets which helps users keep track of issues related to test cases or execution sets. The plugin is also capable of updating the status of a ticket based the status of execution (On Pass or On Fail). The plugin also allows users to see the execution videos, logs and other related information directly from JIRA. At the moment, this plugin works with server version of JIRA. Support for cloud version of JIRA will be provided in one of the future releases
• Introduced new changes to local player to shorten update time and save space when updating local player. For new changes to take place, please uninstall current version of your local player and install a fresh version from the platform
• Added support for Execute_Command to store the message output into a variable
• Added an new ID field in Functions and Function Filters
• Added Page Timeout and Locator Timeout to execution details section
• Commands Editor: Added support for PRINT command with FILE and LIST options
• Commands Editor: Added support for function names which include numbers only or include a combination of letters and numbers
• Fixed visual issues in Switch_Window and Switch_Frame commands
• Fixed an issue with History throwing an error on some users
• Fixed an issue with saving test case displaying two separate informative messages
• Fixed an issue with typing in Vendor list in DB Connections throwing an error
• Fixed an issue with the display name using the first name instead of the username
• Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
