Subject7 version 9.6.2 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:
- Added a new Alias field to commands where Inline XPaths are used. This Alias field can be used to enter a custom caption for the element
- Added support for variables in steps where Inline XPaths are used. A collision will happen if the XPath contains an attribute name used as a variable name in the test. For example //a[@id='test'] where 'id' is used as a variable name, so please use a different variable name to avoid this collision
- Upgraded Subject7 Player and Cloud VMs to Selenium 4.4.0 and removed Selenium 3 from Subject7 Player
- Improved the behavior for saving a test case that has a function which was deleted during test case edit
- Fixed an issue in functions where steps with Inline XPaths could not be converted into web locators
- Fixed minor display issues in Usage Metrics dashboard in full screen and chart printing
- Recorder - Fixed a minor recording issues on Oracle apps where some XPath Templates were not used to generate an XPath
- Recorder - Fixed a minor issue with capturing iframes
- Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
