Testcase - Java/Selenium Extract

Hi,

So in a Testcase, some of the steps have been skipped. When I am trying to extract the selenium code for the Testcase, the skip steps are also generated into the code.

Can we do something so skip steps are not extracted or any other alternate solution to handle the skip steps while extracting.

Hi Khushboo,

Thanks for creating a post, we appreciate users requesting enhancement. We are evaluating your request and will provide updates, hopefully soon.

As a workaround, you can copy the steps you want to export into a separate test (without the skipped ones) then export to Selenium.

Any update on this.

Plus we found out that while extracting a Testcase, even the If-else conditions are not being extracted properly.

Can you connect on a call and look into this one plse

Hi Khushboo,

As suggested, please use the workaround provided, your request was added as a feature request.

Also, please let me know which test case you are referring to here. If this is not on SaaS, please send me an export of your test case as a file.

Hi Khushboo,

Thanks for providing a sample test. As I see, If is among some commands that are not yet supported in Selenium export, so I have logged an internal feature request. Will keep you posted once an update is available.
