Click on "Execution Set" item should open execution set webmask instead of jumping to the execution results

When clicking an execution set item in the execution set menu you jump to the results page. the only option to get into your execution set configuration is by selecting the execution set and choosing the edit button in the menu. For my personal usage the other way around would be more practical, make a link for getting to the results either in the table directly or via the menu options after selecting an execution set.

In the upcoming 10.4 release, set to launch very soon, Execution Sets and Results have their own context, so it will be easier to work with the configuration and results of an Execution Set. From the top-level, when you select an Execution Set you will go into a view that is dedicated to the results of that Set with the details specific to the level of the results you are viewing. You will be able to access the settings from either the top-level (inline edit action on the table row) or subsequent levels so as you analyze the results, you can quickly make changes to the settings if needed. You will also be able to go directly from the top-level down to a failed test run.

If you haven't seen the preview video, you can view it in the Resource Center - lower-left of the screen - which includes links to videos, in-app guided walkthroughs, and release notes. You can also see the video here: https://youtu.be/JXRtZoJropc

Jonathan,

We are going through many UX and UI redesign and enhancements. This certainly falls into this effort and it's on our radar for careful evaluation and consideration.

We appreciate your patience.

Hi Jonathan,

We are working on a major revision to the Execution Set UX to improve the way you view both the results and configuration of Execution Sets, and this is one area where we are improving the interaction.
