I'm curious about what determines the step duration, in seconds, of the Subject 7 command 'Fill'. Is it purely the time taken by the S7 application to find the locator, and push the given text, or is there some response from the target application that S7 is filling?
Any help would be appreciated!

The total duration is from the time the application is loaded to the result when the locator is found and command action is applied (text is filled). Locator Timeout is usually around 5 seconds to allow for finding the locator and step will take some additional time for loading and performing the command action.
