opening multiple active execution sets at once.

This is with regard to a recent update to "10.4.2.8788 Build Date 2025-01-21_17-44" which has had a massive user interface update.

Before this update, I would drop down through a directory structure to a list of execution sets.   I could execute an execution set, click on it and it would open the set in the Reports section where I could observe the execution status.  When I was ready to start a new execution set I just go back to the "Execution Sets" directory, and start the next item in the list.  As I went through the list I could view and coordinate multiple execution sets which were running, complete, or needed failed tests to be re-run.

With the update I drop down through the directory structure start an execution set and when opening the run instead of opening the set in the report section it drills down past the execution sets into the specific test.   To run the next execution set I have a couple of choices.  One is to follow the directory structure back up to the execution set directory and start the next.execution set.   This means that I loose visibility to the previously execution execution set.

The other option is to start the execution set, and drill down to it and then when ready to start the next one  click the "Execution" => "Execution Sets" link, drill down to the execution set directory, and then start the next execution set.    This works, but can be awkward and there is a risk of accidentally clicking into the wrong path.   Is there a better more convenient way to do this?

Hi William,

Thanks for creating a post.

We will be discussing this as well as any other inputs in the meeting scheduled for today, but to answer your question, if you navigate to an execution set and start it in cloud then open it to view results, this will not stop you from opening Execution Sets from the top menu again to find a different execution set to start in cloud, all tabs on the left panel will remain untouched. The only time it will not allow to open multiple times is when Execution Sets is in the root directory, but all other windows can have multiple tabs.

Hope this helps, please let us know if you need anything else.
