|| and && operators within "IF" statement

Would it be possible to add option to use "||" and "&&" operators within "IF" statement. Without this feature, we have to create nested repeatable if/else statements which make test script much longer and more complex to debug sometimes.

Basically, I would like to have in the same IF statement option to verify if variable is equal to value_1 or value_2, then do some action. Same thing with "&&" operator. Also, if we could use templates values for the same statement in the "Right value" field would be very helpful.

Thanks for your feature request. Would you please elaborate on what you mean by the following sentence?

Also, if we could use templates values for the same statement in the "Right value" field would be very helpful.

if we could use two or more values with || or && operator by using option to Inject Template into "Right value" field.

Any updates? Really struggling using multiple "if/else/elseif" statements instead of using simple || or && option within the "if" step.

This feature is our backlog but it's not yet scheduled in a release. We will update this thread as soon as it is scheduled in a release.

Is this feature considered to be implemented, it would be useful for us and make our automation more efficient.

Yes, it's considered to be implemented and at some point, there was a POC done on it, but it was not accepted.

We are replacing the JSON in advance view with a command-like language (like we had before). This is a fundamental change, so there many things to consider.

I can't promise an exact release at this time, but I believe it should be available in 8.14.0 release.

Hello,

Just wanted to get some updates on this request since we already had release 8.14. Is it still in your pipeline or it won't be added? Thank you

Hello Vitaliy,

This feature was implemented a while back, however it didn't pass the review. So it went back to the queue. We will defiantly reimplement this as soon as we release the new Subject7 SQL Like language.

Hi,

We would like to inform you that we are implementing UX changes gradually, one release at a time, on a monthly basis. The particular enhancements you are referring to are related to our expression builder feature, which will be undergoing beta user testing. Following this testing phase, we plan to release the updated version in the upcoming quarters.

Our approach of introducing UX/UI changes incrementally is aimed at ensuring a smooth transition for our users and avoiding overwhelming them. Additionally, it allows us to gather valuable feedback from our beta users, which helps us refine and improve the user experience.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Your feedback and support are highly valuable to us as we work towards enhancing our product.
