Copy paste selected lines from another user's script that is locked

Scenario 1

When I select lines from a script that belongs to another user, and it is locked. I do not have the options for copying those lines. This was a feature we could use previously, but can not any longer.

Scenario 2

When I go to expand view for a script that belongs to another user, and is locked, select the lines and paste it on my script, after clicking apply I do those lines getting added to my script, however, when I run it, it throws error, and it does not run. I have to close the whole script and open it again for me being able to run it.

We are introducing compact version of advanced view in version 8.6 that will be released this weekend. You can make your advanced view in the compact mode by clicking on your username after logging into Subject7, going to Preferences -> General -> Advance View Type, selecting Compact, and saving. With the new advanced view (in the compact mode), you will be able to copy and paste steps from a test case that is locked by someone else as before without problems. In release 8.7, the copy icon will also become available in a test case locked by someone else.

If the function is locked by another person, the advanced view is not available so there is no way to copy the function steps
