Support for mobile testing

Hi Team, 

I have the following questions on mobile testing:

  • As mentioned in the Subject 7 reference manual, I am not able to see "Mobile Locators" in Artifacts menu. I want to know if that feature is not available yet or I do not have the permissions to access that page.
  • If I want to execute test cases on mobile (Android or IOS), how should I proceed?
  • Can I execute automated test cases in browser stack for mobiles? Is there any integration for that?

Hi Kishore,

  • Native Mobile is an addon that your team does not have access to. When this addon is enabled, Mobile Locators as well as mobile commands become available to the account
  • To run test cases on mobile (either Android or iOS), we enable emulators for local and cloud runs
  • You cannot execute automated test cases written in Subject7 in Browser Stack. As you know, we have our own execution platform so you will have to run it on our mobile cloud similar to the way you do it today for web automation.
