Enabling VPN for Cloud Execution

I have test cases which login into an environment which needs a VPN connection. Although I am able to execute them in local run, is there any way to enable VPN for the cloud run executions as well?

Hi Raunak,

The following questions will better help us with your request:

  1. Is this for SaaS cloud machines or PwC machines?
  2. Is the server under test requiring VPN connection on your client’s end or your end?
  3. Can you whitelist our gateway IP so that VPN is no longer needed?

When the Subject7 public cloud executors need access to a non-public Server Under Test, here is the list of all possible solutions:

  1. Move the Server Under Test to DMZ, basically making it publicly accessible (If possible, of course)
  2. Whitelist Subject7 gateway IP
  3. Setup a reverse proxy
  4. Move the cloud executors (i.e. subject7 executors) to the same network as the server under test. Basically, move them behind your firewall
  5. The worst solution, setup custom public cloud executors with a VPN. Generally, this is regarded as not the most stable/secure solution.
