'Execution Execution: null' error on local run with Chrome, after upgrade to 9.5.9

We were getting an 'Execution Execution: null' error on local run with Chrome, after a PROOF upgrade to 9.5.9 today, Edge and Firefox had no issues and we are on Chrome version 103.

Not every user was affected by this error, for those affected we accessed the Advanced tab of the User Execution Preferences and saw that all the browser settings were gone (please see screenshots below).

We then reset all 5 browser settings, saved and tried rerunning local run with Chrome and the issue was resolved. Just FYI.

Hi. Is this for one particular user or multiple? Any particular types of tests, commands?

This was for multiple users, error was on GO_TO_URL command

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We've added a fix in the latest versing to prevent this error from appearing if the default Chrome options were removed.
