How to check for 508 Compliance?

1. In order to check a site for 508 compliance, you must have a test case that contains a GOTO_URL step and a CHECK_508 step:

• GOTO_URL HALT http://www.google.com
• CHECK_508 HALT

2. The 508 Compliance report can be executed using a local run or a cloud run.

3. For cloud executions, go to the Executions page and click on one of the executions. From here, click on the Detail Report link, shown below:

4. For local runs, click Detail Report link, shown below:

5. Once the report is opened, each issue contains a number of columns including the severity, description of issue, recommendations to fix the issue, a screenshot, and the HTML tag that produced the issue.

This report can be exported to XLSX or PDF using the icons on top right as you can see above.
