Unable to find Rich Text locator

We have implemented CK Editor - rich text functions and would like to test the functions. The system doesnt give any x- path for comments boxes or functions like Bold, Italic, Underline, etc.

Could you please direct us to a test case/web page where we can inspect this editor?

Does it include any frames or popups?

We have multiple scenarios where we would like to add X-Path for rich text functions. Would it be okay to setup a call where i could show you quickly?

It is inside the frame.

Are using Gutenberg to generate your XPaths?

Support for frames in Gutenberg is still under development and will be provided in a future release.

Hi Sumitra,

To explain it further, Subject7 XPath Generation Engine (also referred to as Gutenberg) does not support frames at the moment, and will be provided in the future.

The platform however supports frames, once you get the XPath for the frame, you can add it to Frame field as highlighted below. During execution, the frame will be identified and the element inside the frame will be interacted with.

Apologies for the delay in response. We have implemented support for frames and popups in Subject7 Smart XPath (also referred to as locator explorer or Gutenberg) which can be downloaded from the following article (click on 'the plugin' link to download it).
