Subject7 version 7.9 - 2/6/2017

Subject7 version 7.9 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

  • A JIRA configuration page is added under Administration -> Ticket System where you can configure your JIRA instance
  • Under Execution Set report, a + icon is added so that as you are analyzing the results of the cloud run, you can create a JIRA ticket. Once this icon is clicked on, it connects to the JIRA instance you have configured under Administration and video, screen shot, and step-level report are attached to the generated ticket. When JIRA ticket is created, the JIRA ticket number will be available in the execution set report so that you can navigate to JIRA to look at the ticket from Subject7
  • This ticket creation button is also available from the manual test results page
  • Gradual reporting is added to both load tests and automated tests so that as the test case is executing, partial reports become available for viewing
    • To view partial reports as they become available: Go to “Test case Results” page and hit refresh button to see the latest updates to the reports as test case is in execution
  • Multi-browser selection is added for manual test case execution results
  • Safari browser is fixed
  • "Expand All" and "Collapse All" links are added to the executions page to expand and collapse all of the execution set results respectively
  • Pool Management under Administration is updated to show the list of pools along with the number of pending test cases in each pool
  • COMPARE command for dates is updated to include data formats for both sides of the comparison
  • Subject7 is integrated with Cobertura. The result of the code coverage can be viewed under Reporting -> Code Coverage Report
  • Execution set reporting count for a multi-browser execution set is fixed
  • Load Testing: Export to PDF and Excel is added to load test reporting page
  • Load Testing: notification similar to execution sets is added
  • Load Testing: scheduler similar to execution sets is added
  • Load Testing: problem with functions is resolved
  • Load Testing: visual issues are resolved
  • Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
