v10.3.5 has released!
New
- In this version, we have improved the way you move and duplicate steps in your test case with the following:
- If you need to move steps a large distance, you can do this with the new Cut action in the floating action palette. After you select the cut action you then select the step where you would like to insert the steps and click the Paste action
- After you select Copy or Cut, the selected steps are highlighted (and deselected) so you easily see which ones you selected and you can then quickly select the insertion point
- After you paste your steps, you can easily edit one of the pasted steps by clicking the new Edit action next to the appropriate step in the Detail pane
- When you select the parent step of a container (If, Loop, Group) you will now be able to delete either the container and all the steps inside it, or just the container itself
- During a local run when the test run is paused, selecting a failed or blank step will automatically display the Configuration tab
- Added a new spinner icon in the left navigation panel to indicate the test that you are currently running so you can easily move back to it
- Added new Type and Paste options under Desktop_Fill command. Type option is the default method for entering values while Paste is used to enter language-specific characters
- Chrome driver is upgraded to version 123.0.6312.86 and supports browser version 123
- Edge driver is upgraded to version 123.0.2420.65 and supports browser version 123
Improvements
- Starting a test case without any commands will now launch the automation browser so you begin recording with a GoTo URL command
- Improved the behaviour when you reload a paused test case (local run) to try and save the test run results and the paused step position
- Scrolling test cases is now smoother with long test cases, and doesn’t jump around after a local run has finished
- Improved Set_List command when using RegEx where previously some regular expressions would not separate the values into a list
- Altered the grouping logic to prevent breaking the hierarchy with If and Loop commands
- Improved pasting steps where previously it was allowed to paste manual test case steps in automated test cases
- Improved duration fields on execution results pages to remove the fractions of seconds
Bugfixes
- Fixed pagination on Step Results report where previously it would disappear when clicking Refresh
- Fixed an issue where previously an error would be shown when cutting an open function and pasting it in a different path
- Fixed an issue in functions where previously an error would be shown when copying and pasting steps
- Fixed notifications emails where previously the subject line included a test case name in execution level notifications
- Fixed an issue with execution sets remaining in Synchronizing state after switching to a different project
- Fixed an issue with containerized steps where previously an error would be displayed when the user clicks copy on a step inside a collapsed container
