Proof version 6.3 - 10/31/2015

Proof 6.3 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

• Local player has been moved to the web browser. However, we have still kept the old local player intact for a smooth transition. 
  • In order to use the old local player:
    • Browse to the test case listing page,
    • Select the test case of interest
    • Click on Old Player toolbar icon

                     OR

• Go to Test Case Results page of the Execution Sets
• Select a test case
• Click on Local Run

• In order to use the new local player:
  • Open the test case steps and click the play icon. As before, a file will be downloaded on your machine and you need permissions to run it
  • Once the status on the toolbar changes to “Connected", then you can start running your test
  • The “Terminate” button allows you to disconnect the new local player after which you have to download it again
  • Once the new local player is in the “Connected” Status, it will be connected without the need to re-download the player until you terminate the connection or the Local Player process is terminated either by system restart or by some other means
     
• VERIFY_ELEMENT command should work on disabled elements now
• HOVER_AND_CLICK and DRAG_AND_DROP issues are fixed
• You can now search for xPath in Locator page
• User Preferences has been moved to the test case steps tab
