Subject7 version 7.7 - 12/13/2016

Subject7 version 7.7 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

  • Upgraded to Selenium 3
  • Edge browser support is added
  • Firefox versions 47+ are supported
  • Wizards for ELSE and ENDIF are added
  • Web Page, Frame and Popup values are saved from one locator definition to the next to make it easier to define locators on the same page
  • Enter key works for the login page, filters, and confirmations
  • A case sensitive checkbox is added to all filter pages, otherwise search will be case insensitive
  • When large videos are downloaded, processing is shown to the user
  • Data set page provides multi row save as opposed to saving per data set
  • Unlocking a test case no longer asks for ownership change
  • Selenium-related browser configurations are available under Execution Set edit -> Browsers Settings
  • Export to PDF and Excel is added to the test case edit page as well as execution set reporting page
  • State of the assets shows who has them locked for ease of coordination
  • If a locator used in a step has more than one match on the page, a warning will be presented and the status of the step is marked with FAIL_SKIP
  • Pre-execution and post-execution test case options are added to the execution set page. When selecting to include a test case in an execution set, you will have the option of choosing pre-execution or post execution with Execution being the default. If pre-execution test cases fail, the rest of the execution set will be skipped.
  • History for REST connection is added
  • Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
