Subject7 version 7.0 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

  • All password fields are encrypted
  • Breadcrumb navigation in Test Library is adjusted when searched through filters
  • Performance of authoring page is significantly improved
  • Authoring page table cells are adjustable
  • Data set table cells are adjustable
  • The action buttons on the data set page are frozen so that if you scroll to the right, you still have the action buttons available
  • Lock/Unlock functionality is available for Data sets
  • Ownership of Data sets can be changed and reassigned
  • Player terminate button shuts down local player instantly
  • Local player total execution time is displayed at the lower left corner of the local player tab
  • A more detail button for error message is added to shows the error details on a popup
  • Owner in the execution set filters page is changed to dropdown
  • Cloud run video can be downloaded directly from the execution set report
  • Copy function capability is added
  • Unlocking a test suite that belongs to someone else provides an error message
  • PRINT command is added to the wizard. It will allow you to print the value of a variable, a data template field value, or any text to the message. Here are a few examples:
    • PRINT @my_var => This prints the value of my_var variable
    • PRINT ${my_template.title} => This prints the value of my_template.title data template field
    • PRINT "This is my message." => This prints the text exactly as it appears inside double quotes
  • Extra Scroll bar appearing on the first page is disabled
  • Sending sample email under Account settings page is fixed
  • DESKTOP_DOUBLE_CLICK and DESKTOP_RIGHT_CLICK commands are added for desktop automation
  • Local run link from execution set report is fixed
  • Local player refresh gets the latest data template fields
  • Data template: ADMIN or MANAGER can change the ownership of templates regardless of it being locked or not
  • XPath generation algorithm is improved
  • Load Testing: main page can be resized
  • Load Testing: Test case steps and the load test plan are independent. Changing test case steps does not affect the test plan
  • Load Testing message column has a more button to show the error message in a popup
  • Load Testing: Time Units are added to the page
  • SonarQube plugin is created
  • Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
