Subject7 version 7.23 - 2/23/2018

Subject7 version 7.23 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

  • SET_VAR is enhanced to allow creation of variables of a specific format using regular expressions
  • Export to PDF and Excel are added to all of the artifacts
  • Export to PDF and Excel is added to Functions
  • FILL command is enhanced to allow “clear” option so that the same command can clear and then fill a text field or text area
  • “Close all tabs” and “Close all inactive tab” links are added on top of all of the opened tabs for easier management of tabs
  • Landing page after user login can be customized per user. Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen and click on “Change Landing Page”
  • Added a scroll bar to the “Browsers Settings” tab of the Execution Set page
  • REST client is enhanced to support redirects
  • VERIFY_REST and SET_REST are enhanced to support JSON paths
  • Test Case Chart shows both percentage and number of automated and manual tests
    • Select a folder or a test suite by clicking on the checkbox to the left of it
    • Click on More and click on Test Cases Chart 
  • A red “Not saved” label is added on the test case edit page to notify the user that their changes are not saved. Also, save icon is changed to red if some unsaved changes exist. Further, if user tries to close the edit tab of an unsaved test case, a confirmation popup is presented to the user that their changes will be lost
  • References is added to the test case listing page (Test Library) that shows which execution sets the test case is a part of
  • Notification (email) is added to the execution sets page filter
  • Test case name is added to the execution sets page filter
  • Message is added to the execution sets and Executions filters. This field searches the cloud run messages
  • Proof Usage Metrics is changed to Usage Metrics
  • A new add-on is introduced to support native mobile application (iOS and Android) testing
  • Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
