Subject7 version 7.26 - 06/02/2018 – Subject7

Subject7 version 7.26 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

Loop command is added to the wizard
SWITCH_WINDOW and SWITCH_FRAME commands are added to the wizard
Start scheduler message is fixed to show the actual start date and time
GET_URL command name is changed to GO_TO
All Templates are removed from the wizards, and they have been replaced by “Inject Template”
If a test case is used in an execution set, it cannot be deleted until it is removed from all execution sets referencing it
Firefox gracefully shuts down even if there is a confirmation modal popup
Deleting files from File Upload tab is fixed
On the Data Set selection popup for local run, a new link is added to view all the data sets related to the Data templates used in that test case for convenience so that a back and forth between data templates -> Data sets popup and local run data set selection is not needed anymore
Clear functionality is added to Administration -> Pool Management. Click on specific pool and look at its queue. An Admin user can now clear/remove all of the tests from the queue using the newly added Clear button
An admin user can export a folder with all of its associated assets from one account and import it to another account. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Go to Test Library
- Select a folder to be exported
- Click on Export button (an S7 file gets generated)
- Go to Test Library of the other account
- Click on Import button
- Select the S7 file that has been created as a result of export operation earlier
- Click on Import button (If there are conflicts, you can enter a Prefix to be used to resolved conflicts)

DropBox is used as the default storage to store videos, screen shots, logs, and uploaded files. Google Drive is added as an alternative storage mechanism to replace DropBox and is configurable under Administration -> Storage
VERIFY_REST command now accepts template injection into the key value pairs. Also, the order of key-value pairs is now preserved
Selenium is upgraded to version 3.12
Manual Testing: Layout of manual test cases with long description is fixed
Manual Testing: Intermediary saves of the manual test results no longer close the results tab
Manual Testing: Advanced view is added to manual test cases
Manual Testing: Precondition is added to the meta data of manual test cases above Comments
Manual Testing: Environment is added in between Browsers and Comment in the Manual Test Case Report/Result page
Manual Testing: Copying of a manual test is fixed
Manual Testing: Exporting the results of manual testing to excel or pdf no longer ignores the selected results. All of the results are exported if no result or all results are selected
Manual Testing: Automatic updating of the overall manual test result status is fixed
Mobile: More types are added to the Mobile Locator page
Mobile locator: Rename Page and Find Duplicate functionality are added to mobile locators
Mobile: AppiumDriver is now available for snippets the same way Selenium WebDriver is available
Mobile: Clear option is added to MOBILE_FILL command to clear out the mobile text field before filling it (both combined in the same command)
Mobile: In a mixed Mobile and Web test case, stop button shuts down both Appium and Selenium drivers
Appium is upgraded to version 1.6
Load Testing: Load testing status is added to the notification emails
Load Testing: Standard deviation is added to load testing report
Load Testing: Issue with CLICK command is fixed
Subject7 2.1.2 REST API's are released for load test cloud run and reporting and available through Swagger via the link: https://proof.subject-7.com/spec/
Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
