Subject7 version 7.30 - 9/5/2018

Subject7 version 7.30 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

  • Commands starting with SET are renamed as follows:
    • SET_COOKIE to GET_COOKIE_VALUE
    • SET_DB to GET_DB_VALUE
    • SET_WEB to GET_WEB_VALUE
    • SET_REST to GET_REST_VALUE
    • SET_DATE to GET_DATE_VALUE
    • SET_MOBILE to GET_MOBILE_VALUE
  • GOTO command is renamed to GOTO_URL
  • GET_SSH_VALUE command is added. This command connects to an SSH connection, executes a series of batch files, and saves the response back into some variables
  • EXECUTE_SQL command is added
  • Cloud runs are much faster now. Prior to this release, if a large number of tests were being sent for cloud execution, the processing message would stay on the screen until all the messages/test cases were pushed to the execution queue. With this release, they are being sent to the queue in an asynchronous way and hence user interface is back for usage immediately
  • Cloud execution rerun issue with multiple browsers and multiple data sets is fixed
  • A new REST API is released and available to be viewed un Swagger. This API takes a template id or name and returns all of the data sets associated with it. For further details look at https://proof.subject-7.com/spec/index.html#/Data_Sets/get_data_sets
  • Usage Metrics shows who the admin users are in the account
  • An issue with empty values in data sets is fixed
  • User login error issue is fixed
  • Columns in execution reports (Execution tab) can be resized now
  • DESKTOP commands now provide highlighting of the widgets similar to non-DESKTOP commands
  • The following additional keywords can be used to search for commands: type, hold, routine, custom, character, CSS, id, name, modal, insert, select, delete, and update
  • Additional locator types for both web and mobile are now saved for future reuse
  • Fixed a 508 issue with WCAG 2.0 A and AA
  • An explanation is added under Storage for admin users to show what it means to change the storage type from default to Google Drive
  • Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
