Subject7 version 8.1 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:
- Contains command is added to check whether a text/string contains another text/string
- Screen_Shot command is added to allow taking a screen shot of the entire VM, entire browser, or a specific widget
- Get_Web_Value command is enhanced to allow CSS Type so that CSS attributes as well as Pseudo-elements can be read into variables
- Compare method is enhanced to allow comparison of 2 screen shots taken by the Screen_Shot command
- Compare method is enhanced to allow selection of “Case sensitive” comparison between 2 texts. The default comparison is case insensitive
- Verify_Text command is enhanced to allow “Case Sensitive” verification of a text. The default verification is case insensitive
- Desktop_Scroll command is added to allow scrolling for a desktop application
- Dekstop_Dynamic_Scroll command is added to allow scrolling to a desktop element until it is found or end of scroll is reached
- Desktop_Verify command is added to allow verification of an image for a desktop application
- Desktop_Hotkeys command is enhanced to allow selection of keyboard numbers and alphabet keys. This will enable CTRL+A, CTR+C, CTRL+V, etc. In order to do CTRL+A for example, select Desktop_Hotkeys and then add 2 Hotkeys of CTRL and KEY_A
- Desktop_Fill command is enhanced to allow option of “Use Focused Component”. This will allow completion of a desktop form much easier where an image is supplied to a Desktop command to interact with the first form element and then for the remainder, Desktop_Hotkeys + TAB and Desktop_Fill with “Use Focused Component” can be used to fill out the next form element. This way, only one image is needed to be uploaded/defined and the rest of the form elements can be tabbed through and completed
- Multiple data set CSV files can be uploaded into multiple data templates now
- Test case execution id as well as execution id are both added to the pool management for test cases that are currently executing and queued to be executed
- Web service response can now be read and copied after a REST command is executed
- Defect for 2 skipped functions in a row is resolved
- A restricted data set by a user is no longer allowed to be executed in local run of another user
- Fixed the $ problem in the password fields
- Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
