Subject7 version 8.4.1 - 8/10/2019

Subject7 version 8.4.1 has the following enhancements and bug fixes:

• Set_list command is enhanced to support reading Excel (XLS) and CSV files as well as reading sheets in excel
• Introduced “Hybrid” test case type in addition to Manual and Automated. When a manual test case is converted to automated, until all of the manual test case steps are converted to automated, the type of the test case stays as Hybrid so that user could keep track of which test cases are/are not yet fully automated. Hybrid test case can be executed in local and cloud runs and any remaining manual test case steps are ignored during execution
• "Test Case Chart" is relabeled to “Automation Percentage” and is now also available from Reporting menu. It shows the percentage of manual, automated, and hybrid test cases for a folder or suite
•  Session timeout can now be controlled by the administrator of the account. To change it, administrator of the account can go to Administration menu -> Account Preferences submenu and change the Session Timeout value. The current default for session timeout is 1 hour and negative value means session never expires. User can choose any other positive value based on project's need
• Base directory parameter of Verify_file_download can use data templates now
• Added Switch Duration parameter to both Switch_frame and Switch_window commands to override the default behavior of locator-based commands. Without using this parameter, the locator-based commands will switch frame or window to the frame or window defined by the locator. If the whole test case option is used for this new parameter, the locator-based commands will not switch to the frame or window defined by the locator but instead will continue using the frame or window from this command throughout the rest of the test case or until another Switch_frame or Switch_window command is issued with the Default option
• Load Testing Addon: Added link to all test plan executions from reporting menu
• Load Testing Addon: Added the ability to see all test plans executions in reporting view. Also, added filter by test plan id
• Security Testing Addon: Added both active and passive security testing capabilities leveraging ZAP (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Zed_Attack_Proxy_Project)
• Security Testing Addon: Added security testing to local run
• Auto-scaling Addon: Provided the capability to increase or decrease the cloud execution VM’s on AWS as necessary. This addon will start and shutdown the VM’s as need be
• Chrome driver is upgraded to 76.0.3809.68 and supports Chrome version 76
• Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes
