How to install several Subject7 Player instances on the same device

In order to install several instances of Subject7 Player on your device, please follow the steps below:

1. If you have an existing instance of Subject7 Player installed, locate the shortcut on your desktop and rename it to suit the purpose of your first instance. For example, “Subject7 Player – Primary”
2. Download an installer from Subject7 platform to set up your second instance.
3. During installation, pick a different path for installation than the one previously used. You can create a folder anywhere and select it in the installer.
4. Enter the URL and port for the new instance.
5. Once installation is finished, close the installer.
6. On your desktop, locate the newly-created shortcut and rename it to suit the purpose of your second instance. For example, “Subject7 Player-Secondary”.
7. Now you have two instances that you can use one at a time. Notice that if you go to the properties of the shortcut, you will see a different target/start in for each installation.

8. In case you want to install more, you can repeat the steps above, but it’s very important to know that every installer creates a new shortcut on your desktop with the name “Subject7 Player”, so in order not to get confused, you must rename it after installation.
